“The girl was able to get out of the house and tell her family what was going on.”
Soon after that, police went to Mr. Bropho’s house and took him into custody.
What’s new? During Mr. Bropho’s first appearance in Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday, it was said that a link between the two men was found.
It is known that his lawyer tried to keep his name secret because of a “factually similar” case involving a relative and the fact that it could affect any future trial.
Mr. Bropho was charged with kidnapping, getting or encouraging a child to do sexual acts, and two counts of having inappropriate contact with a child.
On Wednesday, he went to court in Perth, where police prosecutors argued against bail.
Before he could decide on bail, the magistrate said, he would have to order a report.
Mr. Bropho was sent back to jail, and he will go back to court on July 27.
