Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria share a snap including all seven of their kids for Thanksgiving
Just seven weeks away from welcoming the latest addition to their family, daughter Ilaria, Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria Baldwin have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving 2022.
And in recognition of the holidays, the yoga instructor and podcaster took to Instagram to show what the couple is most grateful for: their seven children.
Hilaria led the effort to get all nine members to stand still long enough to take a family portrait to celebrate the occasion, which in the end was not easy.
Sharing gratitude: Alec Baldwin, 64, and his wife Hilaria, 38, share the result of their ‘epic failed family photo’, which includes all seven children, including seven-week-old daughter Ilaria, who is sitting in sister Carmen’s lap while brother eduardo sheds tears on mom’s lap
Doing the best they can as parents in the situation, only one of the children appeared to be crying during the photo shoot.
“Happy gratitude day from our epic failed family photo to what is probably yours,” the 38-year-old Boston, Massachusetts native wrote, referring to his not-so-perfect photo, which was still good enough to show the love between Baldwin family.
‘Our love and gratitude to all of you for being wonderful forces of light in our lives.’
Appropriately, the matriarch sat front and center on a sofa in the living room with her arms wrapped around her two-year-old son Eduardo as he sat on her lap in tears and apparently yelling in disgust.
Mommy’s helpers: The mother of seven also shared images of two of her children helping take care of Ilaria when she woke up suddenly from a nap
Cute: The children even stroked the girl, which seemed to calm her down.
Dressed in a brown sweater, Hilaria did her best to calm things down and offered Edu a few kisses on the cheek.
Alec, 64, stands to his wife’s left with one of their four curious children on his lap, who is seen enjoying a snack.
The eldest of their seven children, nine-year-old Carmen, looks adorable at the other end of the sofa, cradling little Ilaria, who has just arrived on Planet Earth on September 22.
At least two of the boys seemed to be making a move toward the plate of cheese and grapes that sat on the glass-topped table facing the sofa.
The busy mom also shared a quick look at one of the dishes she made for her holiday meal which she captioned: ‘Yum.’
‘Hmm!’ The busy mom also gave her almost a million fans and Instagram followers a look at some of her Thanksgiving meals.
Multi-taker: Hilaria showed off her multi-tasking skills by carrying Ilaria in her arms and the family cat in a backpack, as the couple prepared to travel.
TRAVEL READY – I’ll never get tired of this cat backpack. All packed up and ready to go! Take care on your travels today,” the Boston native shared to her Instagram followers.
The day before, Hilaria shared some pictures of her and Alec getting ready to go on a trip over the holidays.
He would go on to show off his multi-take skills in an effort to help things move a little faster and smoother.
“I will never get tired of this kitty backpack,” she wrote, referring to the backpack that contained the family cat, as she carried Ilaria in her arms. ‘All packed up and ready to go! Please be careful on your travels today.
The couple, who celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary last June, wasted no time in starting a family of their own, which began with the birth of Carmen in August 2013, roughly 14 months after they tied the knot.
She and her parents would help receive four siblings at the Rafael, seven, Leonardo, six, Romeo, four, Eduardo, two, before María Lucía Victoria, 20 months old, arrived by surrogacy.
Carmen also got a second sister with the arrival of Ilaria, seven weeks old, on September 22.
Alec also has a daughter, Ireland Baldwin, 27, from his first marriage to actress Kim Basinger, which ended in divorce in 2002.
Getting social: The proud mother regularly updates her children on social media
Mirror Images: Hilaria also shared a collage showing Leonardo as a nw born in 2016 and his baby sister Ilaria in recent days.
Bonding: Hilaria likes to show some of the bonds that grow between children, including this adorable photo showing Romeo, four, Eduardo, two
Out like a light: The attentive mother declared that Ilaria entered a ‘food coma just in time’ on Thanksgiving
Not having it: Seven-year-old Rafael explained the reason he doesn’t smile in photos: ‘Because I don’t feel like it,’ he told his mother recently
Half a ray: Rafa gave a “little smile” when provoked by his mother
