Fleur East says Strictly’s racy outfits and sexy dances has been a ‘blessing’ for her marriage

Fleur East has said that Strictly Come Dancing has been a ‘blessing’ for her marriage, as the sexy dances and daring outfits have reignited the flame.

The singer-songwriter, 35, racked up perfect scores at Blackpool’s legendary ballroom and topped another week of Strictly this year.

But rather than feel the effects of the curse of the dance show on her relationship with husband Marcel Badiane-Robin, whom she has been with for 12 years, she has insisted that the seductive performances have done wonders for the couple in the long run.

Speaking on the Graham Norton Show, Fleur expressed her pride in reaching the top of the leader board last week.

She and her professional dance partner Vito Coppola scored the top 40 of the series with their partner’s choice dance to a Destiny’s Child Megamix.

“It’s the most iconic week on the show and to get there and score that well was amazing, especially since it’s been hard to be at the dance twice and take a lot of harsh criticism,” she told chat show host Graham.

And on the subject of the strict curse, he shut down any possibility of it affecting his marriage.
