Bryan Christopher Kohberger Research Project
After receiving his bachelor’s degree from DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, in May 2022, Kohberger put up the disturbing ad seeking participants in his “research project.”
The now-deleted post contained the following message: “Hi, I’m Bryan, and I’m looking for research volunteers. For my part, I want to know more about the mental and emotional causes of criminal activity.”
“Specifically, the researchers want to know what led up to your most recent illegal act, with a focus on how you felt and what you were thinking at the time.
“You can take part even if you have a criminal record, as long as your most recent offense did not result in a conviction.
“After the free-form section, there are more surveys to help figure out what makes you unique. The study should take between 15 and 20 minutes to finish, “the supposed murderer wrote.
The post said the Institutional Review Board okayed the study at DeSales University.
DeSales University told the U.S. Sun that Kohberger would get his bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2020 and finish his master’s degree in criminal justice in June 2022.
The school wouldn’t say anything about the study of crime.
