As the old insult goes, “May you live in interesting times.”
While 2022 may have been a turning point for Covid, it’s fair to say we’ve still been in turbulent seas this past year.
So it’s good news for everyone that in early 2023, a powerful celestial procession heralds an opportunity to set our entire lives on a better, better path.
This is because Saturn (planet of discipline), Pluto (transformation), and Mars (planet of strength) are all moving into new signs.
It is a rare triple energy shift, and these events are calling us to embrace the new, right the ship and lead us to The Road To Recovery.
Appropriately, what I like to call the Mars of Destiny begins early in the month of that name, when Saturn ends a three-year sojourn in Aquarius and moves into Pisces. Towards the end of March, Pluto makes a one-time move, transitioning from Capricorn to Aquarius (representing freedom and innovation).

This sequence is particularly powerful as it is quickly followed by Mars ending its long stay in Gemini as it enters Cancer. That brings a breath of fresh air that allows us to reassess priorities and implement innovative changes. And when lucky Jupiter moves into Taurus in mid-May, we’ll find new ways to expand our financial resources.
At first glance, some of these changes may not seem like good news.
The last time Pluto changed sign (in 2008), the world experienced seismic economic shocks. And Saturn’s latest move coincided with pandemic lockdowns and unprecedented restrictions.
This time, however, we can expect more positive changes as they enter new signs accompanied by dynamic Mars. It will be a journey into the unknown, but the coming year will be exciting, stimulating and, if we are ready to embrace change, full of solutions that touch all of humanity.
Are you ready? Let’s go!
(March 21 – April 20)
As the new year begins, with Jupiter in your sign and Mars retrograde, it’s like having one foot on the gas and the other on the brakes.
But as Mars joins the March of Destiny at the end of March, that uneasy feeling disappears in your rearview mirror. It’s time to believe in yourself, especially since Saturn also changes signs in March, which means you’ll no longer feel obligated to give way to others.
If power imbalances are addressed and you allow some self-care, a balance can be achieved, energizing you to set goals. . . and reach them.
(April 21 – May 21)
It’s been 12 years since Jupiter, planet of opportunity, wealth and adventure, last appeared in your sign.
It arrives in mid-May with perfect timing, delivering the luck, mind and wisdom to recognize changes needed, plus the support network to harness new freedoms. Your year’s goals will already be clear, thanks to Mars ending its retrograde phase in mid-January. Pluto’s sign change in March, meanwhile, transforms how others perceive you. It’s your job (not too hard!) to find ways to celebrate your success.
(May 22 – June 22)
In mid-January, when Mars moves “direct” again, frustrations will subside and you’ll be re-energized to move forward.
When the March of Destiny begins in the spring, you feel your unleashed potential. Saturn and then Pluto change signs and help you rediscover a sense of purpose. And when Mars finally leaves your sign at the end of March, you’ll be freer to chase your dreams.
With Saturn (the planet of ambition) moving into a water sign, your emotional strength will grow stronger. You will find the focus to diversify your objectives and set achievable goals.
(June 23 – July 23)
The March of Destiny increases your intuitive powers so that you can see the core of problems and people. It allows you to find new like-minded people who share your interests and form connections.
With January’s Full Moon in your sign and Mars rotating directly shortly after, new goals will become apparent and your confidence will get a reboot. Every action you take will make a positive difference to you and the people you care about in a way that shares prosperity and positivity.
(July 24 – August 23)
With Saturn (the planet of discipline and authority) opposing your sign for three years, you’ll feel relief as it moves forward into March.
The March of Destiny then lets you build on everything you’ve learned to take advantage of a financial opportunity to make a plan a reality.
Don’t expect everything on a plate though, as you will have to work to convince others to support you.
Since Jupiter (the planet of luck) changes sign in May, your reputation will attract more help. Your Leo courage is key. If you believe in yourself and your abilities and hold on to your vision of a better world, you can create it.
(August 24 – September 23)
January begins with Mars and Mercury (your ruler) both retrograde; a time to review goals and ideas for a greater chance of success. However, they both turn direct later in the month (Mars on the 12th, Mercury on the 18th) when you’re ready to take positive steps in financial, career or leisure pursuits.
The Spring March of Destiny brings the tools you need and the support to get you started, affirming that you have ultimate control over your own life.
With Jupiter, the planet of good luck, changing signs in May, you can take action to ensure you thrive.
(September 24 – October 23)
The March of Destiny brings clarity of purpose, plus the tools you need to get you where you want to go.
With Saturn changing signs in early March, the restrictions that have thwarted your progress will loosen, revealing exciting possibilities for the road ahead.
As Pluto moves into Aquarius later in the month, refreshed insight will show you what you need to do to achieve career and finance success.
By taking a close look at situations that involve you and knowing that you are no longer under pressure to conform to others’ expectations, you will see what you need to become the person you want to be.
(October 24 – November 22)
As the only sign ruled by Pluto, The March of Destiny may affect you more than any other. Your ruler’s move to freedom-loving Aquarius in spring encourages you to let your instincts guide you and resist others who try to control you.
As Mars (the planet of energy, action, and courage) turns direct this January (the 12th), your mojo returns, bringing excitement and clarity. Once your feelings and aspirations are aligned, you can embrace a journey that will bring you closer to an ideal of satisfying you on a practical and emotional level.
(November 23 – December 21)
The year begins with Mars changing direction opposite your sign, easing the tension that has developed between you and someone important. Whether it’s a work relationship or a romantic relationship, you’ll find it easier to express yourself. And since your ruler, Jupiter, aligns with Saturn in the March of Destiny, it signals a shift, making it easier to work with others.
When Jupiter moves into Earthly Taurus in May, a hidden, more patient side of your personality will emerge. This will allow you to reflect and discover what you really need to do to feel fulfilled.
(December 22 – January 20)
WHEN Mars changes direction in mid-January, a source of frustration will give way to insight into what you need to do to maximize success in your career and happiness in your personal life.
It is an important moment for understanding the kind of person you would like to become.
The March of Destiny will help you communicate and realize these goals. As part of this process, after 15 long years, Pluto will finally leave your sign at the end of March.
A weight is lifted. You change the fixed ideas others have of you; and your passion for change will soon bring others on board.
(January 21 – February 19)
In just under two weeks, Mars will change direction and your creative juices will start flowing again.
The lost confidence will return and the coming year will look like a road full of opportunities.
For the past three years, your traditionally ruling planet, Saturn, has been trying to bring more discipline into your life. But as the March of Destiny begins and the planet of limitation leaves your sign, you’ll be eager to meet challenges in innovative ways. If that sounds alarming, don’t panic! You are encouraged to lay new foundations on your personal road to recovery. Any ground lost will soon be made up.
(February 20 – March 20)
As January begins, Jupiter and Venus combine to reinforce your beliefs about what matters most.
And when Mars turns direct in the second week of the year, you’ll feel ready to pursue what makes you happy and safe.
But it is the March of Destiny and the move of Saturn, the cosmic teacher, into your sign in early March, followed by the move of Pluto and Mars into new homes, that brings you the tools you need to make the most of what life has to offer. offer.
You also gain stability and the determination to capitalize on ideas you never dreamed would be taken seriously. You can turn inspiration into reality.
